Citrine, a short play about queer femme rhythm and ritual, debuted at Echo Theater as part of the Fertile Ground Festival of Performance Art in Portland, Oregon in February 2020. Citrine was also showcased at Holocene
as part of Pink Noise group art show in Portland, Oregon.
Self Defense, a solo show about neurodivergence. Weaves digital collage, found sound, movement, and song with generous, sensual language. Through rhythm and ritual, the work draws a connection between personal narratives and the politics of mental health treatment, including the use of “aversives”, or Graduated Electronic Decelerator (GED) devices, which to this day are used to deliver electric shocks to autistic children. Debuted at the Risk/Reward performance art festival in Portland, Oregon in June 2019.
The Wizard of Orange, a satiric adaptation of The Wizard of Oz debuted in Orange County (downtown Santa Ana), California in December 2009.
